All wallpapers are in PNG format. The easiest way to save these is to right-click (or control-click if you're a Mac person) the download link and select "Save Link/Target As...". Note that while most wallpapers here are for a resolution of 1024*768, most operating systems can stretch your wallpaper to the right size if your resolution is something else.

Here it is, the Merriam-Webster 2007 Word of the Year, in all its glory. In order for the tile to work, you must set the wallpaper to tile instead of stretch. Some operating systems don't provide such an option - if you can't find it, use the pre-tiled version instead.
